NIKONIKONII, also known as Seratna Salokin, is a Brisbane-based DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music researcher born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A Master of Music graduate from The University of Queensland, he studied composition under Memet Chairul Slamet, Robert Davidson, and Erik Griswold. His work explores the intersection of Indonesian musical traditions and Western classical music through contemporary and deconstructed orchestral practices.
His compositions have been performed by the UQ Sketch Contemporary Ensemble, while his artistic research has been presented at the UQ School of Music Annual Symposium and the Punk Scholars Network Conference 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. His works include Griya (2019), Sengsara Dalem Gusti (2021), Pelog Variation in B♭ Major (2024), and Symphony from Piyungan (2025).
Moving between the Brisbane and Melbourne underground scenes expanded his practice into UK garage, hardgroove, dub, jungle, and sound system culture. He is the music director behind Pak Kardiman and part of Crewsakan, extending his compositional approach into bass-driven club music.
