Sanjonas

Sanjonas, also known as Yonaz Kristy, is a multifaceted artist, graphic designer, electronic music producer, and DJ based in Yogyakarta, active since 2012. His wide creative background shapes a distinct sonic identity that moves through experimental, heavy-bass, deconstructed club music, and obscure techno bangers.

Beyond his music, Sanjonas is deeply rooted in community-building and interdisciplinary projects. He is active within Post Party Syndroma as a promoter, co-founder of Bast Cultura, Wicker Basket, and 555_S.E.A, a collaborative effort to reimagine post-platform futures, via music-visual collectives from the ASEAN. He's also part of Ear Flux record label, RAMPAK G.

His recent releases include Incunabula Heroes: Decisive Battle (D1S, 2024) and Incunabula Heroes (POSTWORLD, 2023), along with earlier works like BOTE EP (SOFT/BRUTE, 2021) and Kanon EP (FunctionLab, 2020). He has also contributed to various compilations and remixes for artists such as Senyawa, xato & Griigg, VT-00, Cruda, HXXMO, and Non Archive.
